The Pump Controller is designed to watch over the pump itself — to start and stop it remotely, and is designed to track pressure, current and runtime and to cut power when something looks wrong. Dry-run, overload, and over/under-voltage protection are design features, not yet field-verified; they aim to keep a bad connection or an empty tank from damaging the motor.
