What this covers
This policy explains what IrrigTech collects when you use our website, dashboard, and field hardware (IoT Sensor Node, Soil Moisture Sensor, Smart Valve Controller, Pump Controller, and Field Gateway), and how that information is used, stored, and shared.
Information we collect
- Account details — name, email, farm and field information you enter when you sign up.
- Field data — soil moisture, NPK, pH, temperature, and device status readings sent by your hardware.
- Usage data — how you interact with the dashboard, for improving the product.
- Contact form submissions — anything you send us through a form on this site.
How we use it
Field data drives your dashboard, alerts, and any automation rules you turn on. Account details let us run your account and respond to support requests. We don't sell field or account data to third parties.
Data retention
Sensor readings are kept for the length of your subscription plan (see Pricing for retention windows). You can export or delete your field history at any time from account settings.
Sharing
We share data with sub-processors only where needed to run the service — for example, cloud hosting and SMS/push notification providers — under contracts that limit their use of it to that purpose.
Security
Data in transit between field devices and the dashboard is encrypted (TLS over MQTT). Account access is protected by authenticated login, with role-based permissions for multi-user farms.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated field history, by contacting us below.
