The LoRa Field Gateway is designed to be the bridge between the field and everything else. It is designed to listen for every Sensor Node and Valve Controller on the farm over LoRa — a design target of up to 15km line-of-sight (not yet field-measured), less in variable terrain — and to forward their data to the dashboard over WiFi, Ethernet, or 4G LTE, with encrypted, authenticated connections planned throughout.
